We think of our food as creative comfort food — elemental — as in simple, straightforward, not-fussy. Respectful of the food itself. But we also like little surprises; dining out should be a little adventurous.

In tune with the changing seasons. We publish a new dinner menu every month: a changing selection from Chef Eric Kadle’s repertoire of dishes. A lot of plates are ideal to share.

Fresh and local. Whenever possible we buy directly from local farms, foragers, purveyors and cheesemakers. More Vermont ingredients come thanks to Vermont Fresh Network, our state’s superb farm/restaurant partnership.

We take vegetarians seriously. Each menu features a number of inventive, thoughtful dishes without meat or fish.

We can prepare dinner to go. Consult our menu online and call in your order during regular dinner hours.
